ASTOI : Garranah Best Tourism Minister

Egypt’s Minister of Tourism, H.E.Zoheir Garranah, was honored by the Italian Tour Operators Association (ASTOI) as the Best Tourism Minister to deal with the global financial crisis. This ceremony took place at the 30th BIT in Milano. ASTOI awarded Garranah with the organization’s shield for his resilient and active role in dealing with the effects of the financial crisis which hit the tourism industry
hard throughout the world. H.E Garranah has conducted several important meetings at the BIT, most important of which was with the president of the Italian travel agencies federation “FIAVET “ to prepare for the upcoming annual congress of the federation that will take place in April 2010 in Marsa Alam, with the participation of 1000 Italian travel agencies and 300 Italian media representatives.
