Beit El Wali
It is also located just south of the High Dam, very close to Kalabsha Temple, making it easily a part of any tour that explores Nubia’s monuments. This temple is considered the oldest, and probably even predates the Temple of Gerf Hussein, also dating to the reign of Ramses II. Beit El Wali Temple was dedicated to the deities of Amun-Re,Re-Horakhti, Khnum and Anuket. It was the first in a series of temples built by Ramses in this region.
Both Kalabsha and Beit El Wali can be reached by taxi or boat, depending on the water level in the area.
