The eagerly expected renovations at the Mövenpick Resort & Spa El Gouna have now started to ensure that the popular resort on the Red Sea will continue to meet the ever increasing demands of today’s “savvy” travellers. Work started in June, with the first phase being the complete renovation of the Palavrion Restaurant, the resort’s main dining outlet. The restaurant will re-open its doors in mid September with a completely “new look”. The second phase of the renovations is also underway with the complete refurbishment of 26 rooms. The makeover includes a modern décor and a new room set up with the bed centred in the middle of the room facing the windows to enjoy the fabulous views. The first rooms will be ready to welcome guests by the end of September and the resort will continue its renovation program gradually cluster by cluster - by the end of 2009, 64 rooms and suites will have the “new look”.
